How it all began…
Aloha all,
Anyone who knows me knows I’ve always been full of love, laughter, and a deep appreciation for genuine connection. That spirit is what inspired the name FAWL, an acronym I created after high school for my small cookie business: From Aka With Love. It fit perfectly; and as a bonus, it sounded like “fall,” my favorite season.
The cookie business didn’t last long, but the name stuck with me. A year later, as I approached my 20th birthday, I decided to build a personal website where I could share my creative projects, ideas, and experiences. I had the perfect name ready to go: FAWL. The vision was there, but the follow-through wasn’t, and the site sat untouched for another year.
In that time, I went through a major career change and built some incredible relationships, so life certainly kept me busy. Still, the website remained in the back of my mind. Now, I’m finally bringing it to life and using it the way I always intended.
The best part? This site isn’t for anyone in particular. I created it for myself, and for anyone who wants to follow along on the journey.
