How it all began…
Aloha all,
Ever since I (or anyone who knows me) could remember, I have always been a person full of love and laughter. My intense passion extends further than any little hobbies or interests of mine. But, my love goes out to all people and my genuine yearning for connection. The name ‘FAWL’ is actually an abbreviation devised by myself right after I graduated high school. Originally, the only purpose for that name, was for my small cookie business I had at the time. The name FAWL was perfect!! Homemade baked goods “From Aka With Love.” And it was a lovely coincidence when you put those letters together it sounds like “fall” like autumn, my favorite season! Cute yea? Although, short-lived, my cookie business came to an end, but what about FAWL? Well..
The name just sat there unused for a YEAR. Several months before my 20th birthday, November of 2024, I set out and build my own website. My own personal site where I could filter all my creative work and content into one place. And I already had the perfect name for it right at my fingertips. I planned to use the FAWL website for blogging, documenting, and my business ideas (kind of like a digital diary). However, this was merely a girl’s dream, with no structured execution plan whatsoever. I got the site shortly after that spur of motivation and what did I do with it, you ask? Absolutely nothing.!! Ahhh, yet again I felt like I bit off more than I can chew, and this very website and the FAWL name sat for another year.
To give myself some grace, I did go through a huge career change and I cultivated a few beautiful, in-person, relationships along the way (which I’m sure I’ll blog all about in these weeks to come). So, at least I can say I kept busy in that timeframe. Through all this time my website has been in the back of my mind just sitting here undeveloped, and now I am finally taking it to heart. Now that I finally have everything set up the way I want I am super excited to use it for what I intended it for. The best part is, this site isn’t even for anyone particular. I made it just for ME and anyone willing to read and follow along with me!!
